The corner of High and Walnut Streets has been the location of many different stores since Moorpark’s earliest days. C.I. Dorn was the first of Moorpark’s grocer’s to occupy this location, followed by G.A. Gillies and A.B. Leroy from about 1911 to 1918. The corner is currently home to another store, the Mayflower Market.
